Agree, the point is not computer or not, but algorithm

Those who use computer can explain their algorithm here. If someone has a method that's really elegant and simple, he may find it unnecessary to use programming.

For the second question, does OP have an algorithm that's not brute force? You don't need to tell us the algorithm itself. Just tell us that it's possible, and it'll stimulate our interest. :)
