而且你不要忘记了，早在1943年底史迪威领导的中国驻印军就已经开始反攻，而几乎在同一时期，英印军却在印度英帕尔被日军打得节节败退，最后日军是败在粮食补给不足和恶劣的天气，就在英印军最初连串失败的时候，美英施压让蒋介石出兵，蒋派兵滇西，这才让日军多线作战，如果日军不是受到这额外的压力，增兵英帕尔，英帕尔早就落在日军之手，更谈不上饿死病死那么多日军了。如果没有中国的援手，英军胜不了英帕尔之战，更没有后来的反攻。
