Leave her alone and let her read as much as she wants. Math is the easiest subject to catch up. You can start to put her in intensive practice around Grade 6. She will need only a few months to catch up from grade 1 to 6.

If you force her to learn now and makes her tired of your approach and math, you are really ruining her life

She is only 8. Let her enjoy her life, not fulfil your dream
