look at tonight's game: he's 1-5 fg, 0-3pt, 1-2ft, 4 ast in 21 min. nothing to write home about.
however if he can improve that to 3-6 fg, 1-3pt, 2-2ft, 4ast in 21 min it'll be excellent. imho that's the level of production he needs to pump out *constantly* to solidify a starter role on any team.
and you can't compare lin's cold nights with kobe's or any other stars. kobe has five rings, lin has nothing. lin has much smaller margin of error because that's what you get for being a nobody.
