 That's not hard to understand.  

A small number of overzealous Lin-fans could indeed become annoying on clutchfans.  But every forum has annoying posters.  People usually just ignore them.  You have to feel strongly about those Lin-fans and about Lin to keep attacking those fans -- Clutch used to be one of those people.  It is still understandable.

What's hard to understand is for a Chinese to be obsessed with attacking overzealous Chinese Lin-fans on a Chinese forum like TT, just like those long-time Rockets fans (mostly non-Asians) were on clutchfans.   

As LZ observed, more and more Rockets fans on clutchfans become accustomed to Lin being a legitmate Rockets star.
