Ex-Knicks guard Fields gets engaged to supermodel

Landry Fields makes his first return to the Garden as a member of the Raptors tonight and may have a new announcement to make.
Fields has been dating supermodel, Elaine Alden, who announced on her twitter today, “I’m ENGAGED to the man of my dreams!!!...@landryfields.’’
Fields also wrote: "Couldn't be happier!! Marrying the woman of my dreams!! God is SO good! :D"
Fields left the Big Apple last July, signing with the Raptors a 3-year, $18M pact that Knicks GM Glen Grunwald wasn’t willing to match. Fields’ first season in Toronto was interrupted by elbow surgery but is back playing.
Field was once the toast of the town here, as Spike Lee used to wear his “6’’ jersey and convinced James Dolan not to include him in the Carmelo Anthony package.
However, Melo and Fields made a bad fit and ddin’t get along and Fields’ sterling rookie play dropped after Anthony arrived. Fields still flourished during Linsanity and his apartment couch became famous. His buddy, Jeremy Lin, slept on his couch on the eve of his breakout game last February vs. the Nets.
Fields is averaging 5 points and 4 rebounds in 25 games, averaging 23 minutes.He had elbow surgery in mid-November and returned in late December..
