A week after tying the NBA's all-time record for 3-pointers in a game while blowing out the Warriors, Houston went more conventional Tuesday, using precise ball movement and baseline cuts to slice open Golden State during a 116-107 victory.
NOTABLE: Harden's status should be considered questionable for the Rockets' game Wednesday against the Clippers in Los Angeles. "I could barely walk," Harden said of the ankle. "I'm still limping." . . . Bogut's 12 rebounds were a season-high, his first double-digit performance since joining the Warriors. . . . Golden State forward David Lee upped his league-leading double-double count to 33 thanks to 12 points and 12 rebounds before fouling out with 1:43 remaining. . . . Houston center Omer Asik countered with 13 points and 15 boards. . . . All five Rockets starters reached double digits in scoring, as well as two of Houston's four reserves who played. . . . Harden and Lin combined to go 19-for-19 from the free-throw line. The rest of the Rockets were 1-for-6.

Warm homecoming for Jeremy Lin at San Francisco Bay

(Reuters) - Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin returned to the San Francisco Bay area for a warm welcome and a 116-107 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.
Lin had 14 points and 10 assists on the Asian Heritage Night just across the bay from his home town of Palo Alto in his first Oakland appearance since triggering a mass hysteria last year.
The "Linsanity" may have faded since his knee injury last year and a move from New York Knicks to Houston, but the humble Taiwanese-American was happy to be back in the Bay Area to celebrate Chinese New Year.
The 24-year-old said he could accept all that hype from the media but had different rules for friends and family.
"If anyone calls me any Lin puns," he said in a post-match interview, "we're not going to be friends or family anymore."
The victory over his former team on Tuesday came a week after the Rockets trounced the Warriors 140-109 in Houston.
Golden State did not miss the opportunity to celebrate Lin's ethnicity in a region known for its Asian diaspora.
On the Asian Heritage Night, the U.S. national anthem was played by an orchestra of traditional Chinese instruments, and the game was broadcast live in China. Dragons danced at half-time and the cheerleaders wore Asian silk-themed outfits.
Lin seemed to have embraced his role model status as well.
Two weeks ago, after attending a premiere of the donation-funded "Linsanity" documentary at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, he met Wat Misaka, the first Asian-American to play in the NBA.
"He's kind of following in my footsteps and improving on them," Japanese-American Misaka told the Houston Chronicle. "I wrote him a note of encouragement when he was with (Golden State) back in the dark days when things didn't look too good for him. He didn't have all these fans at that time.
"I think he's in a lot better place now."

林书豪感叹"衣锦还乡"让人敬畏 大赞哈登为战神

他的表现也足够拿出手，虽然命中率不高，11投3中，但是8罚8中，砍下14分，还有10次助攻，他的表现证明自己足够是一名NBA球员。 不过，林书豪更欣喜球队拿到胜利，“能够在这里击败一支主场表现非常出色的球队，我们感觉太好了。落后的时候，教练告诉我们不要慌，按照自己的节奏打，落 后不要紧，坚持自己的风格。这样说之后，我们的比赛变得容易起来。”
在林书豪的心目中，之前扭伤左膝、本场再度伤了右脚踝的哈登就是永不言弃的战神。“我希望他伤得不要太重，这场比赛，他在脚踝扭伤后回来了。他简直就是太顽强的战士了，今天晚上，他奉献了自己的一切，他左膝那里戴着护膝，伤了脚踝后还在战斗。”林书豪感慨说。
现在，他希望球队好好打明天背靠背客场对快船的比赛，然后好好休息，“我们要利用好全明星的空隙，抓紧调整。”
美國NBA賽季舉辦中國新年慶祝活動
中新社旧金山2月12电 (记者 刘丹)当地时间2月12日，中国农历蛇年初三，美国国家职业篮球协会NBA在加州奥克兰甲骨文体育馆继续赛季比赛，并推出最大规模中国新年庆祝活动。
由林书豪、哈登领衔的休斯顿火箭队客场挑战金州勇士队，并借同时举行的中国新年主题庆祝活动与球迷同乐。NBA发布的官方新闻稿称，从2月7日至14日的中国2013农历新年庆祝活动之际举办历史上最大规模的国际献礼活动，以此向中国球迷致敬。
当晚比赛尽显中华元素。球场上方巨大的记分牌显示庆祝中国新年的字样，并一一打出球员的中文名字。球员赛前穿上特地为中国蛇年设计的火红T恤，上面印有 NBA字样和一条舞动的青蛇。勇士队的啦啦队少女着超短小旗袍表演热辣舞蹈，就连活力四射的少男组合舞蹈队也一本正经地穿上中式衣裤玩高空抛人。
多个华裔后代组成的文艺团体在当晚比赛中表演。火凤青年国乐团演奏美国国歌，旧金山西门艺术团表演了富有民族传统的舞龙舞狮。
火凤青年国乐团创办人谢坦告诉中新社记者，这是NBA赛事中首次邀请少数族裔乐团用民族乐器演奏美国国歌。13年来在美国扎根社区，竭力推广中国民乐并多次获得政府嘉奖的谢坦和民乐队小乐手对参与当晚的庆祝活动深感欣慰。
在旧金山湾区出生长大的林书豪重回故里，吸引众多华裔粉丝为他喝彩，有人称当晚到场助阵的还有他的父母家人以及高中球队老友。尽管对手是他入选NBA的第 一个东家金州勇士队，更有勇士的球迷呐喊搅局，并不妨碍林书豪与大胡子哈登等队友密切合作，出色发挥，从首发上阵笑到最后，以116比107小胜结束战 事。
金州勇士队主席瑞克・威尔兹在记者会上表示，20年前，NBA只有寥寥几个外国球员面孔，如今外籍球员多达40多人。中国是NBA赛事在美国之外最大的市场，随着姚明等中国球员加盟，NBA在中国拥有越来越多球迷。
威尔兹同时宣布，金州勇士队将从奥克兰移居至华裔人口占三分之一的旧金山，沿着海湾大桥桥畔新建的体育馆将于2017-2018赛季前完工。
NBA去年首次举办中国新年庆祝活动，龙年赛季共有21场赛事。进入蛇年迎来创纪录的23场比赛赛季，并在中国内地、香港和台湾连续8天直播。其中5支球 队在主场比赛时举办中国新年庆祝活动，包括华盛顿奇才队、芝加哥公牛队、金州勇士队、迈阿密热火队和多伦多猛龙队。另外，波士顿凯尔特人对和洛杉矶快船队 在比赛时用标语显示庆祝。
