打架被叫警察了，请教！！！

因为和LG口角，抓破了他的手。被邻居报了警。警察来后，因为有伤，说本来要arrest我，但因为有个小baby,可能也是不太严重，说打电话给social worker 谈一下就行了。最近压力很大，要找工作，很着急。绿卡的495在pending，会不会对找工作，绿卡有影响呢？ 警察留了case number，说可以要case copy.这样的话严重吗？多谢回复！！！
