I think he just cheated me that he lost his wallet. I was too naive and simple and did not thought it is fraud. He always said he would pay me back but I have not seen a penny from him after 2 months. I already paid the credit card balance and canceled the cards. Maybe it is not worth to take legal action. Like you said, even court order him to pay like $3000, he still could ignore it, right.
