单身老猫, 各路神仙, 求求给指条明路

两年前, 我在加拿大多伦多离婚, 一个女儿判给了前妻, 当时我没有工作,前妻在一家银行供职, 按计算我应给我女儿$217, 但我自愿每月给$500作为女儿的抚养费, 是应给的两倍还多. 我原以为前妻会把这钱都花在孩子身上, 但我错了. 前妻买了新车, 新衣服. 可我女儿穿的是我去年甚至几年前买的衣服和鞋, 都破了. 我多次同前妻商量, 希望她能把我多给的钱给孩子买教育基金, 她拒绝了.这次我女儿无意中说她要电池, 前妻都不给她买. 于是我就告诉了我女儿, 我没月给了她妈妈$500 作为她的抚养费. 结果是前妻不再让我与我女儿同电话. 我现在人在美国, 不知道我女儿情况怎样了, 单身老猫, 各路神仙, 求求给指条明路, 我能怎么办? 拒付$500? 打官司告她, 可告她什么了? 我能要回女儿的抚养权吗?
