divorce in CA

I need some suggestions. My hu*****and want a divorce. We have a one little baby. If I am going back to china after divorce, what's the chance that I will get the baby(born in US)?

We are both working currently and his salary is like double my salary. He said he is going to seperate our current property(house and bank account) with me and that's it. And for the baby we will do joint custodial(if I don't go back to China).

Anybody know if it is fair for me in law and what should I pay attention in this process? He has his whole family here to help him but I am alone here. So please advice.
