在中国如何保护国外专利?

请教：有一个业务发明产品, 自己正在美国申请专利。但该发明应用主要在中国。 我担心专利申请文件公开，就被国人学到利用。 我的问题是在中国如何保护国外专利？我查中国签有WIPO-Administered Treaties， 这协定能保护国外专利吗？还是同时要申请中国专利？
