请教: 公司突然修改medical benefits 无通知

工作过好多公司，却第一次碰到这种状况。

今年五月加入这家公司，当初manager, recruiter说好选任何medical benefits 都免费。进公司后new hire orientation 也这样说，所以大家都选了最贵的platinum. 前一阵忽然收到email 说只有silver 选项才免费，上次paycheck 已第一次自动charge $670(我因为包括全家，所以更贵)。现在公司给我们两星期时间更改benefits, 至于以前收的钱退不退再说。四月份以前加入的员工则不受影响。

请问碰到这种情况如何争取权益? 该咨询律师吗？
