看你上面贴的证书的左面清清楚楚写着：

I, PAUL HINDS, DuPage county Clerk and keeper of the files and records of the reports of MARREAGES, DO HEREBY CERTIFY the above to be a full and complete copy of the certificate which appears in the files and records in my office remaining
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office at Wheaton, Illinois

如果是几年前就作废了的结婚证，你county有必要给你出这个certificate的证明吗？

国内人要还是不明白，那也没辙了，只能怪英语不到位了。
