ask for law cases for tenant

Hello All

I want to know where I can find law cases about the tenant/landlord issues.
My former landlord threatened to sue to for the damages the subtenant caused, but from the photos he sent me, I could not find any damage. There are only normal wears and tears. landlord said there are more photos to show the damage, but refused to show me. He said if I do not pay him the money he asked, he will ask Collection Agency to collect money or sue me at the Small Claim Court.
I want to find the law cases of similar cases, so that I can know how to protect myself. thank you.
