Call your credit card and explain why you missed the payments.

The bank may withdraw its reports from the credit bureaus. If it doesn't, you can file a complaint with the Comptroller of Currency which is the monitory agency to major banks. Or with a consumer protection agency which will contact the bank to help you resolve the issue. The last resort is to attach your explanation to your credit reports at the bureaus. But that won't get your scores back.
