I am sorry to hear your termination. However, you might not realize how serious the absent means in USA ( I assume you are in USA). You need to realize your mistake, not just focus on mistakes from others such as the wrong date or wrong name. Hope you could learn something, and it is a good idea to call your manager to say Byebye, and tell him your feelings if you did feelnice, and ask if he could tell you more why you did not fit the requirement.
