My father, chinese citizen, just bought properties in Canada

in case, if he passed away, how can I deal with the properties in his name in canada?

The notary told me it is according to the laws where he lives, so it is according to the laws of china.

In case my father passed away, how can I sell the properties and obtain the sale proceeds?
