就我们公司的情况来说， independent contractor （not

employee）是没有 paid vacation 和 holiday pay 的。他们也没有公司提供的 health insurance， 401 K 等等的 benefit。

可能当时公司给你的 offer letter 是错的， 现在他们自己发现了， 就要去改进这个错误。
