在家具店受伤，寻求帮助，谢谢！

昨天去家具店买家具，身后的一块床板突然倒了，正好砸在我的后脚踝上，流了一些血，肿了很高，走路很困难。对方是一个local小店，里面的经理非常不nice,report都不愿意给我们，还是其他美国顾客坚持要他给report,否则要我们call911，才给了我们一个report，里面也注明说在我被砸几分钟后，另一块同样位置的床板因为其他顾客晃动它后边的家具，导致它也差点倒了，再次砸到我，这一点他们的店员在场，可以证明。我去了急诊，因为需要等很长时间，后来就回家了。结果今天脚肿的更厉害，也更疼，周围全是於青。但我觉得骨头也许没有被严重伤到，但因为无法行走，我不能回我所在的城市上班。我想咨询在这种情况下，我需要怎么做，需要去医院检查，找律师吗？非常感谢！
（需要说明的是我的保险在外州）
