第一次听说爱尔兰诗人W.B. Yeats，是去一个叫Innisfree Garden的花园，其中Innisfree就是从他的一首诗中得名：I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree。中国的音乐人赵照，根据诗人Yeats的另外一首诗《当你老了》，改编作曲写成了这首同名歌曲。
