Try to identify some problems/challenges from your past day-to-day business experiences or business operations, define one or two problem domains or use cases, and build your projects; then, use your knowledge in machine learning to construct your solutions for the projects and solve the problems. As a result, that would be your real-world experience in machine learning, and also, representing your problem-solving skills or capabilities on your resume.
