getting tired of phone interviews

had several phone interviews, most HR department. Some from hiring managers directly. Interview usually went well until they asked me about my current compensation. Then HR usually asked if I would take some cut. HM would say they would follow up after other phone interviews. Then I would not hear anything from them any more. getting tired of these phone calls. Last week, another recruiter told me about several open positions. I don't even have the motivation to call her back.
