My experience is to keep as positive as possible. Some people don't care about you are not native speaker, some do. You'd better not emphasize that especially if the job you interviewed with need strong communication skills. I asked the recruiters if i can use that as my weakness, they always say no.

This being said, your "non-possitive" discussion may not affect you at all. So don't worry. I forgot to ask for the business card in previous interviews and still got second round.
