About "bring sample code for on-site interview"

I will go for on-site interview next Monday, just got phone call from headhunter and asked me to bring some sample code for the interview. Any comments will be really appreciated.

Since it will be 3 hours interview with developers, why do they ask me to bring code? They can test me on-site. What kind of code should I bring? I wrote a lot of code in the work. How do I decide which snip of code should I bring?
