I got an interview with a government department today. The interview went pretty well, but when I asked about the timeline of their decision making, the leading interviewer told me that they should inform me within a month. Is this a bad sign or is it just that the government takes so much time to make a hiring decision? He kept mentioning that I have a solid background though. Please advise!
