I applied for a senior software engineer position (Java) with a company and they just phone interviewed me. During the interview, they asked lots of very detailed questions about Hash Table. In my opinion, the questions are to such a level of detail that I feel they are interviewing a programmer, not a senior engineer. I would like to ask, is this very normal during IT job interviews?
Thanks in advance!
