Feel more relaxed behind the wheel. If you experience an accident or theft involving a rental car you paid for with your Citi card, we may cover you up to $50,000 toward the cost of repairs or the cash value of the car, whichever is less. Be sure to decline the rental company’s collision loss/damage insurance for this coverage to be in effect.
Not covered: Damage to any other cars, personal property or injury to any party.
Covered reasons:
- Your rental car is damaged by an accident
- Your rental car is stolen
- Any authorized driver listed on the rental car agreement
- A breakdown shouldn’t leave you stranded. If you have car trouble when you’re on the road in any of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands, help will be sent directly to your location – a service you pay for only when you use it.
