It depends. I had a case involved the lane change.

If the car changing lane and hit your car on the side, it is the fault of the car changing lane.

If the lane changing car got in front of your car and your car hit that car from the rear, it is your fault.

If both cars are changing lanes and touch the sides, then it is 50/50.
