perm 被denial,正在appeal,九月h1b 就6年到期，还有别的办法留下吗？
-The PERM appeal normally takes a longer time (several months to one year or more), so it is possible you do not have time to extend yoru H1 beyond the 6 year limit. One solution is that you may change your status to another status, e.g. F-1, etc. before your 6-year H1 run out. Then, after you get the I-140 approved, you can change your status back to H1 and extend it beyond the 6 year limit.
Of course, if your PERM is approved in August, you cvan use premium processing to get the I-140 approved in 15 days, then file H-1 extension beyond the 6 year limit. Another possibility is that if your PERM was filed on/before teh early September 2012 (one year before your h1 expires), you can extend your H1 beyond the 6 year limit even if the PERM appeal is pending.
