诚恳请教各位大侠：我是绿卡持有者，05年我为孩子申请来美，去年（08年12月）收到移民局的移民批准通知。通知中写着签证类别是：绿卡持有者21岁以下未婚子女F2(a)。当我打电话到签证中心咨询排期时，签证中心工作人员说我孩子是21岁以上未婚子女F2(b)签证。我弄不清这是怎么回事？签证中心能随便更改移民局的批文？到底是移民局说了算还是签证中心说了算？是否从F2(B)转回到F2(a) ？期待大侠们指点，谢谢
-What is your kid's age now? How long did you get your I-130 approved (I-130 pending time)? You still have to wait for your priority date (PD) to be current to caculate whether your kid is out of age or not.

For example, if your kid is 23 years old now, your PD is current at this time, your I-130 took 3 years to be approve (pending for 3 years), then your kid's age for the visa = the kid's actual age at the PD being current) - I-130 pending time = 23-3 = 20
So, you can know exactly whether your kid is out of age when your PD becomes current.
