Thank you very much for your clarification.

I got my (conditional) green card on 04/13/2005 through marriage. Upon my arrival to USA I got a letter from immigration office saying that “we welcome you to permanent resident status in the United State”. The receipt date of the letter is 4/22/2005, and notice date is 5/13/2005. The conditional status was removed this year on 03/05/2009, as noticed by I-797C, Notice of Action. In both my green cards (conditional and formal) it shows that “Resident since 04/13/05”. I am wondering which of those dates should be my priority date (PD).

My son was born on 4/3/1985. In the notice from immigration (I-797, Notice of Action) it shows in Section: Unmarried child under 21 of permanent resident. 203(a) (2) (A) INA. The Recept Date is 8/22/2005, and Notice date is 12/16/2008.
