H1-b renew in Paris?

I am planning to travel to Paris on business. I am currently holding an H1-b visa, and need to apply for a new stamp before I come back to the US (F1>OPT->H1-b). Anybody knows the process for applying the stamp in US consulate in Paris, especially the time to process the stamp and waiting time to schedule an appointment? Thanks a lot!!!
