请问应该用传统的用煤气的空调还是用电空调heat pump

要给老房子装空调，之前的空调管道都就太旧了，就都换新的。 装空调的技术人员建议用heat pump ，电空调，因为这是未来的趋势，加州10年以后就不用煤气的。但是之前跟另外一个空调公司的技术人员聊这事，他说如果他给自己家里装还是装少煤气的，功率大，更有效率。该选择哪一种？
