Statistics mean nothing without mentioning deductibles.

我佛州房子保险最贵的不到2200，并且离海岸线不到10英里。房子不贵，主要原因是deductibles 高，我的飓风deductible  一般是5%。以前整到过10%，后来发现有的贷款限制不能超过5%， 就只好定在5%.

当然，还有其它的因素，比如房子的新旧、屋顶的新旧、是否是concrete-block等。 

我的自住房的费用也比当地的平均低，一个道理。

所以你们俩讲得可能都是对的，或者说你们很可能是在讲不同的东西。
