If u want to get All-Clad, get 5-ply clad lines like LTD2.
Walmart.com carries a line called Tramontina. The triply clad line is rated almost as good as All-Clad's triply line, according to American Test Kitchen by Cook's Illustrated. I got the 10-piece set and other pieces and like them a lot. The looks are identical, and the price difference is huge.
However, if owning All-Clad makes you feel happy, get All-Clad. :)
