Failure story: same as yours.
Make up procedure:
1. I think it should be the "instant" yeast but not the yeast we usually use in baking.
2. If you use the ordinary yeast, you should let it stay in the oven not for just 5 minutes but at lease 50 minutes or more.
Suceess Story: I used milk instead of water; ordinary yeast instead of instant yeast; let the paste stay in the oven for one hour. The result is much better than expected.
