儿子跟我说, I’m craving for a juicy, bloody piece of steak. 我想他缺铁了. 我儿子在长个儿,老是想吃大块的红肉, 医生也说过, listen to your body, your body will tell you what’s missing and what’s wrong.
我是用 Food-net-work Tyler Florence 的 Horseradish prime rib 的涂料方子做的, 很好吃. Tyler 是我最喜欢的 celebrity chef, 觉得他人好可爱.
Costco 买了一块 4LB 的Prime rib-eye roast, 用以下的涂料抹匀,放了半小时,再烤.
涂料(量我改小了,因为我的牛肉小):
-2TB fresh thyme
-2 TB fresh rosemary - chopped
-5 cloves of garlic, peeled
-1/4 cup horseradish (Tyler 是要用新鲜的,我用了瓶装的)
-1/4 cup sea salt
-1 TB fresh grinded black pepper
-1/4 cup olive oil
把盐和蒜放进碾器,捣成泥,加 rosemary, thyme, 再辗烂, 加pepper, horseradish, olive oil, 拌匀. 把它抹在肉上,

烤盘里垫上锡纸, 放一架子, 肉放架子上, 周围放红椒, 红洋葱, 放了一头大蒜, 等会儿给土豆泥用, 用olive oil 淋在蔬菜上, 进350F烤箱烤1.5 小时,肉的温度是125F,就好了, 这是medium rare 的. 大约20min per lb.

这是温度记,好用,插在肉里,到温度了,就会叫.

拿出烤箱后松松地盖上锡纸, 让它rest 20 分钟, 再切开. 吃时也放上 horseradish 就好了.
Costco 买来的土豆泥粉,做好后加上烤好的蒜泥和 parsley, black pepper. 本来要把南瓜切条烤,儿子反对, 说要吃土豆泥.
配上烤过的红椒和红洋葱, 加一点微波炉煮过的青豆,
