1995 I was at Nanjing. Nanjing university, just finished sophomore year.
Food was totally awful from dinning halls so we often ate
in the restaurants around.
All very cheap, 1990's living standard is low. Tuition was 230 yuan per year!
Apparently there's better dinning facilities elsewhere.
This dish itself is very easy to make, the only problem is frying poplutes the air.
And the oil needs to be filtered to use again. Too much for me.
