You can use rice starch mixture to make steamed noodles,
Cantonese rice noodles taste about the same as this flour starch noodles.
But you got to add some alum or baking powder inside the mixture.
All commercial rice noodles has alum addition, that's the drawback.
I don't buy Mei Fen package anymore as soon as I learned it has alum added.
Alum makes the rice noodles less brittle.
