We made the 咸肉豌豆饭 several times last week. We bought fresh 豌豆 in a Mexican supermarket. Too bad we can't buy 鲜笋 here. When we live in Philidelphia we can always dig 鲜笋 in the park, so many during spring time. Now we hardly see them in CA. So we used salty 笋 instead, still came out well. We didn't use ham, we used homemade 咸肉.
