Both of them belong to Brassicaceae (cabbage family). Their leaves are kind of similar. But rocket (Barbarea vulgaris) has yellow flowers and the fruit is narrow, long shape. 荠菜 (Shepherd's-purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris)) has white flowers and the fruit is triangle (heart) shaped. Rocket can be edible, but it doesn't have the flavor and texture of 荠菜.
