湾区吃喝团- Napa 秋游

总有团员提出，吃喝团，没有突出过喝，好像应该叫做美食团更贴切（：所以借着秋天看红叶，尝尝应季的wine grape，上周日我们几位团员去了yountville，st. Helena, 品美食美酒，最后还在泥潭里（mud bath)打了个滚，完美的一天。

Napa valley位于旧金山北湾地区，我们一般去的winery基本都是沿着highway 29，从Yountville 到北面的Calistoga当中大大小小的。金秋时节正是酿酒葡萄成熟的季节。

yountville是个优雅的酒乡小镇，因为Thomas Keller的几大餐厅更受瞩目．

Washington ave.是贯穿yountville的主要干道，著名的餐馆基本都集中在这里。
看到了心之向往的Ad Hoc，明知没订到reservation,还是侥幸地去问问。。。

没有空位啊

订位的Redd restuarant就在隔壁， yelp上很受好评

pan asian style,感觉很简约，淡雅的味道

挑的white wine, wine menu越往后翻价位都跳到三位数以上了，所以在aromatic wine里挑了价格适中的Riesling，napa valley 2009

大家share的appetizer - Smoked salmon, country bread, herb cream cheese, pickled onions

Entree - 看来大家喜欢的都很接近，点了Yelp上推荐的几个
Duck confit, mushroom risotto and thyme jus  - 一致公认这个duck confit超级赞

Caramelized diver scallops, cauliflower purée, almonds, balsamic reduction

路过St. Helena, 顺道停了V. Sattui, 很适合全家picnic的地方

我和大月亮在这里品尝了六种wine,虚心好学的我们还摘要记了几笔，这位漂亮MM还帮我们推荐了几种


后来有点晕乎了，舌头上味蕾细微地给出极其接近的信号　－　这是２００８cabernet sauvignon,我们冲着价格高点的（哈哈，不懂装懂露馅儿了），还说是５ｇｏｌｄ　ａｗａｒｄｓ,我们都觉得too strong,可能男同胞会觉得配steak更给劲儿

推荐dry riesling  from V. Sattui, 125th Anniversary edition - crispy, bright, fruity flavors yet bone dry, 感觉女生会比较喜欢。
