DELL pc BIOS problem,

DELL Dimension 3000 PC. I buy a second HD, installed as primary slave HD driver. But I run DELL BIOS (version A01), it can not find this primary slave HD, only show primary master HD. Although window XP can find this HD driver, and marked it as F: . Anyone know why? how to fix? as I want to set BIOS to boot from second HD. Thanks.
