PS/2 port problem,unable to st

Today morning, when I turned on my computer, it halted during it was starting up. the message shown on screen said "Keyboard error or not keyboard present. Pess F1 to continue, DEL to enter setup." It could not go any further from there. The funny thing is that the message advise me to press F1 or DEL - I can't use keyboard. I pluged the keyboard on other another computer and found it worked fine.
I hope I can fix it without cost me too much. Would you please provide some tips on this problem?
