windows xp, change default lan

hi, ggjj,

i just bought a laptop for my parents, who of course don't know english. so i have to change the default language to Chinese. i tried those start->control panel->language option crap. it didn't turn out the way i expected. i am wondering if it's possible to completely change the language environment of windows xp. e.x., on the desktop, My computer --> 我的电脑。 if so, please help me.
