Laptop Compaq V2710

Just bought it days ago. Seems to be great deal. However, have just found that the AMD CPU is heating up to fast because the fan is built on the bottom of the PC and facing down. And also the screen is very vibrant. These two drawbacks kind of bother me. Does anyone have any suggestion beside getting new one? Thanks.
