前不久跟几个 hiking 的朋友到 Yosemite Day Hike，走了一条叫 Pohono 的 trail。这条 trail 沿 Yosemite Valley 的 south rim 山嵴， 从 Tunnel View 到 Glacier Point，或相反从 Glacier Point 到 Tunnel View。下面先贴一张网上抄来的 trail 的 Google Map。 广义的 Pohono trail 就是图中从 Tunnel View 到 Glacier Point 两点之间彩线标出来的路径，不是从 Tunnel View 到 Glacier Point 的汽车公路。
Pohono Trail Map
Distance: 13 miles (21 km) one way
Elevation at trailhead: 4,400 feet (1,340 meters) at the Tunnel View; 7,200 feet (2,200 meters) at Glacier Point
Elevation Gain: 3,700 feet (1,130 meters) including Sentinel Dome; 3,400 feet (1,030 meters) without it

如果说 Sentinel Dome 和 Taft Point 由于靠近 Glacier Point，
需要 hike 的距离短，而有不少人去过的话，那么 Pohono trail
的主要目的地 Stanford, Crocker, and Dewey points（楼上地图中
从左到右标为蓝色气球的地方）就很少人去过了。在从 Taft Point
到 Dewey point 的途中，很少碰到别的 hiker。下面一组是在
Dewey point 拍的pp。

下一个景点是 Crocker point。

最后贴两张在 Inspiration Point 附近拍的景色，看起来跟 Tunnel View
差不多。但你仔细看 Tunnel View 中的 Half Dome 被挡住一多半，只露出
一小脸。这里的 Half Dome 露出的脸就大多了。原因是 Inspiration Point
比 Tunnel View 高出约一千英尺。另外 Inspiration Point 附近树丛较多，
不象 Tunnel View 在公路边比较开阔。
