Typically bonus is based on company profitability, and/or personal objective (or so called MBO, management by objective). If it is a sizable company, they should have written document on when, what, how to get the bonus.
Typically MBO is about 10%. At the beginning of the year you and your manager agree certain REACHABLE goals and reviewed at the end of the year. You should have no problem getting that 10% MBO in most of the time.
The rest of the bonus should be company/division profitability related. Typically each level of employee gets same percentage.
Of course every company is different on how to calculate bonus. The best thing to do is ask. If they have a written document on bonus, make sure you get it first before accepting the job.
