some PIs as close friends. I happened to know their efforts/struggling. Jobs in nih research is not like a job in a goverment. Postdocs have to be productive, otherwise the whole project/group may fail, which means the failure of the PI. So I understand you very much, just like my friends.

Consulting opinions for any person, regardless of if he is your husband or not, should be highly appreciated and praised.
